More brightly lit version of Ognid. A version 3 is going to come up with even brighter lighting. This one is still fairly dark (at least from the feedback I've gotten it seems to be).

First attempt at a Half-Life map. It's a small close quarters map with a lot of shadow and not much cover. Fighting is fast paced and furious. A large, open, multilevel arena dominates the map. There are numerous doorways into and out of this area leading down narrow corridors and a small outdoor courtyard.

It's a small wide-open map built for mayhem which is based on Nipper's old dod_battleground map. Too many snipers/mg's on the map can make it a tough experience, but not entirely impossible. You have to be quick on your feet moving out of spawn, where you're most vulnerable. After that you can make use of the uneven terrain and a few old bridge pilings for cover as you advance towards the enemy. Beta3 eliminates some wall holes that were found and should have better framerates than the previous versions.

Revolted was a very popular map with our clan as well as several others. Unfortunately, it didn't work with steam and from what I gathered from the message boards I perused, nobody was able to get in contact with the original author. This is a re-work of the map that works with steam. In all cases it has been left as close as possible to the original. Plans are in the works for one more revision to this map, as well as a future Source version. Thank you Tolken for creating the original map that was so popular people demanded a comeback. This is version 2. It contains a couple of bug fixes (horse statue can no longer be picked up, and the objectives text now displays once per round at the bottom of the screen.

Nice for a little break from the routine, this is a small spades and nades map (the map strips all weapons from the players leaving everyone with a spade/knife and 3 grenades). Each side is looking to improve their picnic The Axis have rabbits to roast, but lack wine to wash it down. The Allies have some fine vintage wine, but nothing to hearty to fill their bellies with like those tasty rabbits the Axis have. Hack and nade each other to pieces while you try to get what you need for your picnic and bring it back to the table. Don't ask about the name, we know it doesn't make sense, but 'Target' was already used and 'K-mart' didn't sound that great.

Well, DoD_Buellingen had a lot of promise. It was to be a mainly underground map centering around the tunnel system where the Germans were assembling V2 and V1 rockets during the war. It was to feature an underground rail system, a large chamber with patially assembled rockets, flag caps, and bonus objectives. After two gruelling revision which were lost to a hard drive crash (yep, backups are important) I've given up on it though. These are some screen shots of the map that may never ever be.

The third map. Definitely the best so far, but still not that great. This is version two of this one as there are a few more things I want to add to it and a couple others I may change a little. Frame rates should be a greatly improved in this one. It's a little smaller than I originally thought it would be, and doesn't quite have the flow I thought it would.

My second DoD map. A lot better than the first, but still not quite what I was looking for in a map, and a far cry from the experienced mappers out there. A few interesting features (some stuff to blow up and machine gunner nests) Flow is pretty straigtforward, with a few buildings for cover. It's not a big map, not a beautiful map, but we have fun playing it. Looking forward to doing the next one!

My first attempt at a map. It's not a spectacular one (small, cramped, ugly, senseless, poorly dimensioned) but it helped me to learn a lot of the basics of the map editor. Hopefully over time things will improve in aesthetics, game play, and innovation.
